Within a span of 6 years, the Department of Economics has justified its presence by continuously improving the curriculum and bringing it closer to the needs of the national and international economy. The department runs a two-year Masters Programme, which combines the study of core subjects in economics along with inter-disciplinary subjects like Communication Skills, Statistics, IT etc. The idea is to enrich the students with both the macro and micro-economic structures considering the globalized scenario and to improve their skills to fit the latest industry requirements.
